Q. How do I purchase tickets to Kapow!?

A. Tickets can only be purchased through the website ahead of the event

Q. How will I receive my ticket?

A.  Once you have purchased your ticket you will receive an email confirmation e-ticket. Please ensure you print out your e-ticket and bring along to the event as each ticket has a unique barcode which will be scanned on entry.

Q. Can I buy my ticket on the door?

A. No all ticket sales are in advance via our website. There will be no on the door ticket sales. Please note tickets for Kapow! 2011 sold out ahead of the event.

Q. Is there an age restriction for access to the event?

A. Certain panels will be have an age restriction due to the content of the footage being shown, any age restrictions will be detailed on the events page in the panel details. There are no age restrictions for the main hall.

Q. Are child/concession tickets available?

A. Children under 5 are free. All individual day tickets are £20 and weekend tickets are £35 for over 5’s.

Q. I am no longer able to attend the event, am I able to get a refund?

A. Tickets purchased from Kapow! are strictly non-refundable. The only time we would offer a refund is if the event is cancelled or moved to another date.

Q. I have purchased a Saturday ticket but would like to come on Sunday instead. Can I change my ticket?

A. Tickets purchased from Kapow! are strictly non-refundable.  A separate day ticket can be purchased.

Q. I have bought multiple tickets for my friends and myself but all the barcodes appear on one e-ticket, will we be able to arrive separately?

A. Each barcode on the e-ticket relates to each individual ticket and will be scanned on entry. Each barcode can only be scanned and used once. If you will not all be arriving together please ensure you have allocated a barcode to each member of the party e.g. printing multiple copies and writing names next to the allocated barcode and/or crossing the others out etc.

Q. Once I have had my ticket scanned and entered the venue can I leave and return throughout the day?

A. Yes, you will be given a hand-stamp when you first leave the venue, simply show the venue staff your hand-stamp to allow re-entry.

Q. Do I need to buy tickets for individual panels and signings?

A. No all panels and signings are FREE. Access to panels and signings will be on a first come, first served basis

A. How many items can be signed per person per signing?

Q. There is a limit of 3 items per person per signing to ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity to get an autograph during each signing slot.

Q. Can I bring along my own comics, books etc to be signed or do I need to purchase these are Kapow!?

A. Yes you can bring along your own comics and books to be signed. Comics, books, DVDs etc will also be available to purchase from exhibitors at the event.

Q. Will I be able to get sketches from attending artists and how much with they cost?

A. Yes artists will be located in Artists Alley. Simply approach the artists to discuss the sketch you would like. The prices will be at the individual artist’s discretion. 

Q. How much to autographs cost?

A. All autographs are FREE! Queues for signings are on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 3 items to ensure the maximum number of people can get an autograph in each signing slot.

Q. Will I be able to take photos and film at the event?

A. There will be filming and photography restrictions in some of the panels due to the exclusive footage being shown but there are no restrictions in the main mezzanine of the venue.

Q. What are the opening times of the event?

A. The venue will be open to the public on Saturday 9am – 7pm and Sunday 9.30am – 3.30pm.

Q. Are there cloakroom facilities at the venue?

A. Yes the venue has cloakroom facilities in the entrance hall.
